Completely new here to the EFI Live world. Im not writing my own tunes, simply installing, changing, and data logging. Problem is i installed a CSP tune on a 6.7 cummins and when i co to the switchable tunes section on the V2 i gat the message required config file(s) not found. I get the same message when going to read as well.

Also i cannot program a tune standalone. Ive moved files into the V2 with explorer, i see them on the screen, but cannot program the file.

Is this something in the setup of the controller itself? I gave not touched any settings in the controller so it is just as is was out of the box.

The V2 needs to be setup.

You need to read the Cummins Quick Start guide for your year model as well as the Quick Reference Guide. If applicable you should also read the Cummins Boot RSA Patch guide. These guides are all included in the EFI Live V8 Scan & Tune software under Help > Documents .

I have done the quick start and the boot patch. How do I go about setting up the V2 for what i need? Is there a standard setup that works for my purpose or a file i need for the V2? All the information I see is assuming that one is familiar with the device, I am learning as i go as I have always delt with box tuners.

Ok, I got it to work finally by loading the tune file into the quick setup. Question is, do i have to do this quick setup for each tune i would like to data log and switch tunes without a csp or dsp switch?

To data log you must go through the BBX/BBL setup process outlined in the documents that I referenced earlier.
