Update FlashScan through SD Card

Hello,

The usb interface in my Flashscan is defective, I dont have time to send it away for repairs yet, can i update through the SD card or is my only option sending it in for repairs?

In the other thread, we decided that a broken USB will cause other limitations that are harder to live/work with.

No it can't be updated via SD Card, only by USB. It will need to be repaired.
If you're based in the US, send it to SoCal Diesel for repairs

Otherwise send it back to EFILive in NZ.

Matt, you have those suggestions above to consider, but the USB connector is just an off the shelf one you could get from any electronics store. If you are outside of the US and don't want to send it to SoCal or back to EFILive then maybe just pop in to a local electronics repair shop because replacing the connector is pretty simple if they do that sort of work everyday.
