Can you still buy the Road Runner PCMs and if so can I just get one to use fore love tuning save the file reinstall the factory PCM flash with the new turn and keep doing this on any cars I tune? I gather I still need a licence for each factory PCM to flash.

Yep ended up finding the site and sent an email regarding availability. How about my other question do you have any idea on that?

You'll need a one-time RR license; when you write to the RR you do not need a VIN license.
Then, when you flash an actual PCM, you will still need a VIN license per PCM.

Cheers joe. Something I might look into. Live tuning would be so much easier then loading reloading after modifying via BEN maps.

Idle tuning goes very quickly.

I gather would just change everything to a custom OS so when you go from the RR pcm to the original PCM can just open both and use the compare tune and copy function. As I would be using it to tune multiple different LS based PCMs

so if i repin the 1998 harness to 1999+ i think will work ?Yes it will
( repinning is a common 1998 upgrade, it had been shown to work quite well, and if you can run a 411 PCM then the RR will work )
