How much good on a stock SLP LS1?

I'm wondering how much good EFILive will do me on a stock 2000 LS1 F-Body (SLP-version :)) - being in Germany, any extreme mods are out of the question anyway (thanks, TÜV :(). At the moment, the car is in stock condition, with plans on maybe putting in a mild cam and headers at some later point.

Is there any point in doing any tuning to it now, with either performance or efficiency/economy improvements?

I would get the tuning software now. You can learn how to navigate through it now. The factory tune stinks. You'll see good results even on a stock car.
