Every time I load a tune, I have trouble getting the engine started because the codes have cleared and I need the maf to fail so it will run. What can I do? Of course I am running SD.

Is your MAF physically present...?

Post your tune file.

No, the maf is removed and plug taken off. I'll have to get my other computer to post the tune.

Ok, MAF is removed.

You should be getting a MAF DTC immediately as you start your engine, are you seeing this...?

No, I usually have to pump the accelerator while trying to start and it eventually starts.20576

Ok, try this file (attached).

If that does not work, then also do this (to the _0233 file): set C2903 and C2906 to zero.

I want to see a MAF DTC on key on (immediately).

Okay. It will probaby be Monday before I get a chance to try it. Thanks.

I can't get the file that you sent to open up. I says that the version 8 is not available yet. Then when I click "Edit with EFILive v7.5" I get the tune page with no data.

Goto the downloads page at www.efilive.com and download/install V7 and V8 software, and update your V2's firmware (start V8 S&T and click Check Firmware).

I have the problem fixed now. I set up to use AutoVE and the changes in the MAF table fixed it. Now I'm having trouble with AutoVE. I think I set everything up per the instructions but something is not right. The figures in the MAP table comes up as .04 and then when multiplying the VE table by that number gives me a 3.xxxx. Way too low a VE number. What figures should I be getting in the MAP table? Thanks

The values (multipliers) in the AutoVE map should be close to 1.0.

Post your tune/log files and some screenshots (use SHFT-PRTSCR and/or something like Greenshot).

2058520586 Not sure what you want screen shots of. This is the only log I've done to test out the autove and I did not like what I saw so I'm trying to see what I did wrong. Thanks

The screenshot will show me how you're doing the map...

Ok, looks like your wideband is not working, the pid EXT.AD1 is stuck at 0.06V.

My wideband is working. I'm using the LM2. It is reporting to the log cause it shows up under AFR. Maybe you can help me make the right PID selection so that it will report correctly. I may have chosen too many AFR PID's and still not go the right one.
I'm anxious to get the autoVE working now that I see what it can do. I have been using a calculator forever figuring what to multiply each frame of the VE table by. ie: (AFR/14.7) times VE. This is the first time I have changed the size of my engine to where I have a lot of figuring to do. Thanks for the help.

I'll take a look in your log file shortly (sorry, I have been out all day)...

your screenshot does show the LM2 AFR stuck at 0.59... this is pegging the LM2 BEN at 0.04.

Is you LM2 plugged into the AD1 input (both the the + and - pins)...?

2059320593. I'll have to look at the cable in the morning to tell you how it is connected. It is a cable that's pugs into the top of the efilive box I'm thinking. No problem. Just glad you were helping today. I'm having a problem with my FAST TCI tranny controller not shifting correctly and they been closed since Thur.

If your LM2 is connected to your FSV2 using serial comms, then you're using the wrong AFR and BEN pids...

for serial comms use the pids EXT.WO2AFR1 and CALC.BEN1_B.

For the AutoVE map use CALC.BEN1_B.
