Since I have the workshop version I have a good little bit of money in my cable. Does anyone else have there cable insured? I am having a hard time finding a copmpany to insure it.

Nope, don't have my WS cable insured. Probably should - some wing nut could walk off with it or get run over.

If you damage or break your workshop cable and are able to send it back to EFILive and EFILive is able to verify that it is a workshop cable we will usually replace it for a small charge that covers our costs only.

Unfortunately, if a workshop cable is stolen or lost or for any reason cannot be returned to EFILive or if we cannot verify that it is/was a workshop cable then we (obviously) reserve the right not to replace it. In that case, an insurance claim would be your best option.
