Ok so I thought some of your foreign types might like to see where you should go for your next overseas trip.
Check out the clear nice roads and scenery.

(This will be an excellent test for my new 512mb link!)

The car is a 2002 Holden Commodore SS model. T56 Manual trans, LS1 5.7L, tuned with EFILIVE Custom OS3 Speed Density, Semi Open Loop. (STFT's at part throttle)

Enjoy..

All pics are from the South Island of NZ, best place on earth.

OMG,
Those photos are so cool. I am going on a business trip to Norway next week. I would love to divert to New Zeland instead. However, I really need to find a way to get down under. When I get ready is there anybody willing to keep me on track?

Tordne, lives there. If you are heading down there, let us know we can give you the low down on where to go. Bottom line is dont miss the Milford Sound.

Those are some pretty awesome photos my friend. Makes me what to go to the South Island as well ;).

Funny how sometimes your own country is the last to be explored :bash:.

Absolutely amazing pictures.....I think I've found a new destination to call next!

Hope you don't mind, but a "stole" a few pics, and use them to span my dual monitors at work. Some of the mountain shots are making for an EXCELLENT background!!!

I have visited NZ and I can say definitely you will not be disappointed.

The South Island is beyond comprehension as Ringam's pics demonstrate.

I was born in Canterbury (suburb of Sydney, Aus), and in my travels I've visited Canterbury (region/province of South Island, NZ) and Canterbury (city of England, UK). :D:D:D

I've seen the Kiwi one spelt 2 different ways, I was wondering if anyone can explain this...?

Yep basically you are right. GTO was based on the commodore.
Some young scamps went awol on the design and they built it for a laugh, worked out well and went into production. As far as I understand anyway.
Check out the new VE coming in Aug. 6L L76 (similar to L92) engine in it. New suspension etc. Should be good. Will be used as global platform by GM
