I have a question regarding these new to me fax files, I've read up on the forum for many days but I can't make sense of one thing. I have a 411 pm / operating system 12212156, I've downloaded the lean cruise and transient fueling patches, I've sported the lean cruise into my config files and it did show up in the tube tool, however, when I export the transient fueling vac file, it saved it as 12212156(2) and I can't find the parameters in the tuning tool for said os. Do I need to copy both files together? Also, my computer will not open these cax files.

You will need to merge them with notepad or notepad++ or some text editor. As long as no duplIicates exist you'll be fine. If there are, you'll need to delete them ( or pick best one).

+1 you need to merge the separate cax's into a single file (12212156.cax)... you just inline each cax, make sure there are no duplicate table id's as Snipesy said.

Joe, why is it that every time I open up the tune tool I get multiple error messages saying B9000,B9003,B9006 etc are not allowed/overlap. Is there a way around this? will I damage my pcm by flashing it?

According to the Cax file, the latest modification was made by Joe and is version: 7.2.3

This is just a shot in the dark but after comparing the cax Files to the efi live factory parameters, It looks like I should erase B9000,B9003 etc from the cax files as they are already in the editable parameters under the dynamics section, or am I missing something?

Also, when opening the program, the last error that I get is "User Defined calibration: (B9100)'s address $029ADA is outside the calibration address boundaries, which is not recommended." Is this just one of those legalities?

Yes, delete those as they are duplicates of tables in the Dynamics section.

B9100 LC Enable is outside the calibration address range.

Edit->Properties->Warnings has an item for this.
