Can a CM2100 that's locked by some unknown a̶s̶s̶h̶a̶t̶ tuner be flashed with a stock file? I know some controllers can be just not sure about this one or not. Don't want to waste a licence if I cant overwrite it.

Thanks

Yes they can, the lock only blocks the reading function. If you have a suitable file you can flash over the top it should be fine to do so.

I am currently trying to write over a locked ecm but keep getting a 0537 error. Vehicle is a 04.5 dramas lly

Pretty sure the 04.5 lly blocks read and write. I don't think it was until the 06 lly/lbz that the lock only blocked reading (I could be wrong though).

If you have access to a laptop, try using the V2 in pass-through mode with the EFILive V8 Scan and Tune software and check the two checkboxes: "Try Alt Keys" and "Assume Lock May be Faulty".

When you do that in pass-through mode the software will create a *.htx trace file in \My Documents\EFILive\V8\Trace. That is the trace file you need to send to EFILive Support.
