Red X On My Options..help??

Hi guys. i downloaded the newist patch. then i was tryinh to do the auto ve on my brothers car. now when i go to the scan tool, all the pids i am suposed to view have red x's on them, and i cant get them back on. any help would be great.

Have you tried validating the PIDs? To validate, connect to the vehicle that you want to scan and connect (click the small red button at the top left) but don't start monitoring. Then click the info tab and select Validate PIDs. If you want more information, click on Help and "Help contents" to get to the User Manual. You may or may not have to do this every time you switch from one vehicle to another- depends on the vehicles.
