what is the max safe boost limits for a lml stock vgt turbo before having major failure. truck has cp3 conversion

You can make 600 hp with 30 lbs. There isn't a need for more boost.

ok. but has anyone push it in the mid 30s to 40s. how about the guys running the compounds with stock valley turbos

My truck will spike about 35 on a shift and lockup. It usually makes 30-32 lbs on max effort tuning. I have heard of some guys having tuning and hit mid 40's. That is just getting hot and not making power. Boost is not necessarily more hp. You want power and efficiency.
