I'm getting a Error $0537 for the 2014 Cadillac CTS-V Sport Twin Turbo for Read 2 T43.

Any idea why it's not pulling the Trans Read.

I was able to pull the factory E92, but Read 2 is says UNLOCKING WAIT, then ERROR $0537

The Error Codes pdf says this:

$0537
Controller is locked with a custom key.
An attempt was made to read or program a
controller that cannot be unlocked using the
standard GM keys.
If you know the key that was used to lock
the controller, please use the unlock option
in the EFILive software to unlock the
controller before attempting to read or re
flash the controller again.

I've never seen this on an TCM.

So you can read the ECM ok, but not the TCM...?

That is correct. Pull the ECM just fine.

I just brought this car last week lol

Don't know why the device is not reading the factory TCM...

Suggestions?

Because EFI doesnt support that Aisin 8 speed TCM... Nor do the other guys...

So basically I am ass out of getting anything from my TCM. Do I just need to open a ticket?

I've read other tuning companies like HP and trifecta are able to tune the TCM. I just need to get a read LOL

No, opening a ticket wont help as EFILive doesnt support that TCM at all. It'd be different if the TCM was supported and a new calibration just needed to be mapped out.

For reference, HPT doesnt support the trans either. Trifecta might, but regardless you'll have to use their software/hardware to flash it and they lock most things too FYI.
