I have a 2002 Silverado 0411 PCM on a 5.3, that I need to create a dummy file for the factory PCM so it will operate, the cluster, cruise, AC and allow an aftermarket ECU to run the engine. I will feed it a split cam and crank signal, TPS sensor signal and vss signal so it will "assume" its still controlling the engine.
Can a simple file be created by just disabling all the MIL triggers related to the systems disconnected or will I have to dig deeper to keep the ECU happy?
