I have a V1 Flashscan and need to do a CKP relearn. With the last set of modifications to the engine I had a dyno tune done on the car and the tuner used HPTuners with a 2 bar OS. When I go into the bidirectional tab of the EFILive Scan software there is no option on the dropdown for the relearn. I'm assuming the issue is the with the HPTuners 2 bar OS in the ECM I can't use EFILive to perform the relearn? Any other options? e.g. can a TechII/III at a dealership still perform the relearn with the custom OS or do I need to get my hands on HPTuners?

p.s. the place that tuned my car is several hours away so I can't get their in a practical way

Car is an '04 Cadillac CTS-V (original LS6 ECU) with a Magnuson supercharger added.

In the V7 scantool goto the DVT tab.

Do you know how to do it (after you initiate it from the scantool you have 10 seconds to bring RPM up over 4000 rpm, as soon as it stumbles release throttle and let it spin down to idle, switch engine off, wait up to 15 seconds).

Turned out that I wasn't getting a crank signal at all so the relearn wasn't the problem after all. Thanks anyway!

ok, glad you found it... what caused it...?

Poor engineering :) My son had the wires for the crank sensor and the oil level sensor swapped. Who thought that having plugs similar enough that they could be swapped that close together was a good idea?

Anyway, it's running now :)
