Flashscan V2 Scan Only???

Is there a version of Flashscan V2 that only allows scanning? There is an ebay listing for one, but it doesn't make sense. They talk about the ability to upgrade it to allow tuning. Is this true, or can I maybe get a great deal on a new flashscan?

Yes, you can buy a "Scan Only V2 (http://www.efilive.com/flashscan/flashscan-v2-scan-only)"
Better to buy direct from EFI Live so that you are guaranteed a warranty!

Voided Warranty Tuning is one of our dealers. You could safely buy through him. To upgrade from a Scan Only device to the GM Tuning option, you'd need to purchase the upgrade here http://www.efilive.com/licenses/tuningoptions

It ends up being $50 dearer buying the Scan Only and upgrading.
