Hi all,
Been a few years since I have been on here. So when attempting Auto VE tuning, the car runs extremely lean for the first few minutes , then I am able to log and make adjustments. It doesn't matter if the car is at operating temperature for tuning or if it is cold . If I shut the car off and restart, it will read between 17:1 and 18:1 AFR, but after a few minutes the AFRs settle down to 14:6 and 14.7 AFR at idle and light cruise and I am able to continue tuning. My wideband is an Inovate LC-2 and is functioning flawlessly as compared to a standalone wide band at a dyno facility.
Is this something that is inherent to LS1A engine controller or maybe I didn't get the Auto VE tune file set up correctly? The car made 460 PS on the dyno and AFR at WOT were 12.7 to 12.9.
I can attached the tune file if necessary.
