long story short the truck had a bully dog on it when we purchased. it would not uninstall and the tune I pulled off my ECU was not a stock one. I am looking for a stock tune for VIN 1gchk23245f909949 now i did find one that was close to the versions located on the Cal check on TIS but the fuel system and speedometer versions are different. I am still learning on this platform so not sure how much this will matter.I am hoping some one could educate me on how the different versions work and impact on the tune.

One that came off of the truck

The one i found on Diesel Place

You Know, I had an issue with my LLY and I believe it had some sort of aftermarket tuner on it at some point. It appeared stock with all the available EFI Live tables as well as had the most updated calibration in it.

I ended up getting the truck re-flashed through some one with access to TIS. Flashed booth the ECU and TCU and it resolved my issues. You might wanna consider going that route.

There are some vin specific cal settings which may be a factor. For example long beds have bigger tanks. I thought you had someone flash you back to stock already? I honesty would do that first although since your os is the same you may be able to create templates off the one your are working on. Also didn’t you already buy an aftermarket tune?

I had a buddy try to reflash with ‘‘tis and no luck that is why I am looking for a stock one.
I thought they could just lock the tune but not need to lock the ecu. This is why I am trying to put together a stock tune to have. He was able to update the tcm with the latest but not the ecm.

If you did not intentionally lock it, Check you V2 settings, it may have been set to lock the Tune when flashing the calibration file.

This has happened in the past
