V8 Software: V8.2.10
FlashScan/AutoCal Firmware: V2.07.128 (Nov 03, 2017)
FlashScan/AutoCal Boot Block: V2.07.007 (Feb 07, 2014)
V7.5 Software: V7.5.15

I'm abandoning my Dell Inspiron 7537 due to non-functionality with V2 after working for several years until the EFI software upgrades (gone through tech support and exhausted everything already).

What I'm looking at is a new Dell Latitude 5580 with Windows 10 Home. USB ports: one USB 3.0 Powershare and 2 regular USB 3.0

Anybody had any luck with this setup?

Otherwise.... looking for any new laptop that works, but looking for these features:
15.6" Touchscreen
Full backlit numeric keyboard (preferably black, as silver with backlight doesn't work so well)
3 or more USB 3.0 ports........ or combination of 3.0 and 2.0 USB ports if that makes it compatible with newest EFI software & V2

Another possibility for a new laptop is the Leveno Thinkpad P51 with 4 USB 3.0 ports (1 Always-on)

See post #1 here: Please-Read-Windows-8-Users-(USB3-xHCI) (https://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?23223-Please-Read-Windows-8-Users-(USB3-xHCI))

Let me know if that helps.

Anytime I've had USB problems the fix was to remove the old and install the latest from FTDI. There is a utility to help on FTDI ( http://www.ftdichip.com/Support/Utilities.htm#CDMUninstaller ) but it doesn't appear to support Windows 10. An alternative program is available here --> http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html <-- which should allow you to remove the drivers currently installed. Remove the drivers, reboot and then run CCleaner to optimize the registry, reboot again and then install the latest drivers.
