Hi, this is all new to me but I think I might need a stock tune ctz file for my 2011 L77 VESS manual ute ? I bought it second hand & it already had an exhaust & an OTR mafless tune. I have just fitted a bigger cam & bought a Flashscan V2 to help tune the thing but I got this little alert. Can anyone help a newbie out ?

Start with the latest software from EFILive.com, both V7.5 and V8 are needed. Try to re-open the file then and see if it opens.

I had to add E38 to the list of enabled BBL controllers & load some confiq files into the flashscan to enable logging. I still get the unrecognised pcm message but I think that is because of my OS number which i have seen come up in another thread posted on here. I can now read and log but I don't seem to be able to access any files for tuning, that being said I could be doing something wrong as I'm new to all this. I sent my .ctz file to support as I didn't see my OS number listed on the reference pdf at the efi live website but that pdf hasn't been updated since 2014 by date indicated....hmm. I'm guessing I will need a stock .tun file and do a full flash?

Wait for Support to get back to you.

It may have previously been tuned with HP Tuners and have one of their custom OS's in there which could explain the unrecognised PCM message

Geez, sorry we took a short break over Christmas :angel_innocent:, the cheek of us not being here 24/7 365 days of the year, actually we are still on a break and won't be back open until the 8th so this message doesn't really exist.

Yep, that is a HPTuners COS: 01250233 GM OS 12647991

EFILive doesnt provide files man, just the tuning suite. If no one had a compatible file, you'd need to hit the dealer and have them flash your ECM back to stock as you had a HPT COS installed.
