Hi guys, now that I have a decent hot EFI tune in my LML, it really bugs me how loose the torque converter is.
Is there a thicker trans fluid I could run that would not cause trouble with the Allison?
We do this all the time in the drag racing world to tweak the stall in Powerglides and TH400

Just re-read your post and understand it better to be too high of a stall (loose) not clutch apply. Thicker fluid will lower stall just like on a drag car. You could try the 15 tractor fluid we use in drag cars. John Dere fluid. Wont hurt the clutches but may make it shift smoother so it could be a trade off. Better to go with a lower stall stator.

I would definitely prefer not to replace the stater. I’m not familiar with 15 tractor fluid. Are you referring to ISO 15? I’ve heard
