2004.5 LLY no crank/no start

Hello,
I went to flash a new tune and it failed. I tried a couple more times with no luck. Now the truck wont crank. The only thing weird that happened during the flash was the ABS light and park brake flashed and chimed right after it passed the bootloader section. I cant remember the code it gave after the failed attempts.

Both IGN 1 and 2 fuses are fine but they both have no power. They are flat ground. The scanner wont communicate with the ECM at all. All fuses are good. There is power going to the OBD2 port. Am i safe to assume the ECM is a brick?

We have seen this many times through the years. I don't think there is anything you can do, the symptoms are typical of corruption. We have occasionally been able to restore these on the bench where the bus communication can be isolated. We also have replacements in stock if need be. If you cannot PM, email [email protected]. I will try and walk you through a couple of things.

It depends. We may be able to restore it affordably. If this is not convenient then the quickest way is probably to purchase one programmed.
