No VIN for doner engine and trans

Ok, I have bought a 06 LBZ and auto through a 3rd party for a conversion I am doing in Aust, so I don't have the original VIN for the engine combo is there a way to be able to read and write to the system before I fork out a swag of coin for a V2 programer

Your ECM should work fine with EFILive. Licenses go by the serial number of the ECM not the actual VIN. You can program the ECM with whatever VIN you like, the serial number is unique for each ECM.
