I tried to flash a tune to my 2000 C5 today using the V2 by itself and got the above error message. I have flashed this thing hundreds of times over the years and have never seen this code before.

The manual says the following:
$054A Boot Loader Failed to Start
The most common cause of this error is
misbehaving modules on the vehicle
network. Please isolate all non-essential
electronic modules from the vehicle
network. Modules such as radios, OBDII
based gauges, entertainment systems,
navigation systems etc.

How do I do that, pull a fuse or what? Any tips or tricks to check first? I made sure that I have the latest firmware, etc. loaded onto my V2. Thanks for any help or direction!

Yes, correct, pull the fuses for Radio/Entertainment and On-Star for starters... see how that goes.
