Need help on setup Cal pid ben to use lambda not afr?
The afr stoich is rescaled by 54.3% due to 92 lb/hr injectors as the 08 e38 has a cap on 8 gram sec on injector size.

log lambda from ecm & use a ext.lambda if via serial or you need to create yourself a pid for an analog wideband.

then from that you create a ben pid.

What wideband are you using?

I am logging lambda from the west Ecm, and I am using a innovate wide band via serial interface And logging both lambda and afr, I just need help with creating a calculat pid to Create a Ben factor for lambda,

See attached file (rename it to "calc_pids.txt").

Look at the pid CALC.WO2BEN (it requires SAE.LAMBDA and EXT.WO2LAM1 as Tre-Cool said).

Thanks Joecar,
It works,
Have you ever run into a situation where on e38 the car would run with the yellow wire off of the maf and run fine, but when you would turn off the DIC P0102, P0103 to enable speed density for traction control it won't stay running?
My car is a 08 Z06 Ls7, with mild cam, ZR1 Map sensor,Novi 1500 paxton supercharger, 90lb/hr injectors which I am use the stochiometric AFR method of scaling attached is copy of my tune with data log of it running before turning off DIC P0102,P0103,2209422093

When any of the MAF DTC's P0101, P0102, P0103 trigger, the ECM ignores the MAF completely (i.e. runs from VE/VVE exclusively)...

if none of those trigger, then the ECM tries to use the MAF, and if it can't (yellow wire disconnected), it will calculate what the MAF should say... which is usually wrong... this is why it won't stay running.

So: do not turn off the MAF DTC's.

90 lb/hr at 3-bar or 4-bar...?

Did you measure rail pressure with reference hose disconnected...?

Stoich AFR and IFR scaling is good if you can get IFR under 8 g/s which looks like you did.

I'm looking at your log...

( don't use CALC.BEN1_E38 since it will be out by factor of 2 )

use CALC.WO2BEN.

93.3lb/hr @ 4 Bar, un-referenced as it has the reg in the tank, I am using the CALC.WO2BEN,
It runs decent on with MAF but I get codes for MAP performance.
I am thinking the MAP maybe shit or its not a true ZR1 3 bar map sensor. I ordered new one. It would make sense if it was wrong compared to all the problems I have been fighting with.
