So i was working on some transmission shifting tuning and after using EFI Live for 12 years i just noticed this helpful info at the bottom of the screen.
Select one of the cells and at the bottom it shows engine rpm. Guessing it uses the Tire size and gear ratio to determine this?

Yes, correct, it uses tire size, axle ratio and gear ratio to calculate the engine rpm's, I find it very handy in keeping the mph shift-points sane wrt rpm shift-points/limiters
( EFILive is excellent software  )

Did they get this feature to work on the other trannys or was it only for his gen pcm?

Seems to me to work only for PCM's
( i.e. where engine rpm and trans gear ratios are in the same controller )
