I’m trying to create a calc pid for V7.5. Ive tried to create this using instructions from this site, it must be a bit beyond my IQ level. I’m trying to log lambda from an analog wideband. I’m currently logging AFR from this set up perfectly, just want to switch to lambda. I’m using analog input 1 and the formula needs to be: lambda=V*.096+.618. Can anyone help create this or point me in the right direction?

Hi Jake,

which wideband are you using...?

here's an example calc_pids.txt that does the same thing as what you need, but for the AFR brand wideband:

( see CLC-00-041 )

Do you have the user manual pdf for this...?

Is this the same as the ECM AFR1500...?

What is the stoich AFR that this wideband assumes...?

The manual can be found here.

I just nailed it.

I was using expression: {EXT.AD1}*.096+.618

Turns out I needed 0s in front of the decimals.

Changed expression to: {EXT.AD1}*0.096+0.618

Works like a champ now. Nothing quite like the feeling when you figure something out after messing with it for a long time. Thanks for the reply’s joecar.
