Hey you guys..

I've been trying to get this to that "5 to -5" range and am having a bit of difficulty.. The cars definitely improved "driveability wise" since I've started so I think I'm moving in the right direction..

First I'd like to know how you guys think it looks and how to, possibly, get it better..

FC5,
Not sure why your image does not come up but does if you paste it up into browser.

Your map looks better than mine in that your high cells are localized where as mine are scattered. I am no expert.

What mods are you tuning for and what have you done to get where you are?

Thanks, Bruce

I suspect the image was not showing as the file size was 811Kb, bitmap pictures (.bmp) are REALLY large, I converted it to a .png image which dropped it to like 30K and put it on the server here.
When you are on cable etc you forget how long a 811K image takes to display.

Ross

Sorry bout that.. it was late and I figured I'd get around to figuring it out in the morning..

GMPX:
thanks for taking the time to reduce the pic for me.. I noticed you updated my original post but I still am not seeing the image..

Bruce:
I'm running a magnacharger w/ a smaller pulley and alky.. seeing 10psi max. Along w/ flowed heads, FLP LT's w/ cats.

I've been getting by w/ a predator tune which RWTD worked for me.

BTW, I've figured out how to reduce the high cells considerably and will post procedures/steps I took to get there.. The car is a different car w/ the new tune..

The .png I can't see.. Here's a jpeg that I saved it as which seems to work..

I might be just assuming every browser / PC O.S supports .png......is that the case??.

Ross

Okay.. back to my LTFT map.

After reading the endless various posts on this and other forums, interpreting (more like mis-interpreting) what was written.. I finally made a change that started to move things in the right direction.

First of all I have to mention what didn't work. I mis-interpreted the change required to IFR to bring LTFTs down. I thought these values (the values we see when looking at the map) needed to be raised. That did not work for me. LTFTs were not consistently moving negative and driveability just got worse..

Raising the MAF table from 2000Hz and below by .8 improved the high trims to some extent.. but further increases saw inconsistent improvement once again. Since the .8 MAF increase was an improvement I left it in place and started to lower the IFR table. This was when finally saw results that were consistently relative to a change!!!!

I changed it by -.02 and LTFTs dropped and throttle response improved.. noticeably. Made more -.02 changes and saw better ltfts and much better off-idle throttle response!!! The difference in response now is almost huge.. Almost grandma driveable.. well, maybe :)

Anyways, I'll most likely take it down a tad more but here's my map as it stands:

BTW, prior to flashscan it wasn't bad.. I can just imagine what this could look like..

Now to hook up my LM1 and.. uhh... learn.
