i need help identifying which controller i have in my 2003 silverado 1500 2wd 4.3L serv# 12581565 hdw# 12575502

from my understanding, it is the P59 PCM is this correct??

if so, then which pcm do i select in the efi live v8 software tuning section. the only option that is close is the p04b "98-04 v6"

LS1B, they were not listed by the GM name back when EFILive first came out, everyone knew them as the 'LS1 PCM'. That V6 PCM you mentioned was used on the 3.8L V6, not the 4.3L.
By the way, if you are trying to read the ECM just press auto-detect, it should then automatically choose LS1B for you.

okie dokie ty very much i tried auto detect but i get the $0101 error code right now my engine is in the shop being rebuilt, so i was thinking about making a bench harness as per efi documentation

ok well i gusss this thread can be closed. i ended up making a bench harness and was able to connect to the computer and it identified as the LS1B thank you to those who helped
