View Full Version : Flow matched injectors-now what?

Much is made of "flow matched" injectors, and now I have a set and can rank them by number as to flow. Since I can't read AFR in each cyl just on one bank of the headers, which cyl is likely leanest? I have read #7 is most likely to clog cause it is the dead end on the fuel rail, but it seems that is a separate issue. Feel like the dog that caught the car, now what?
Thanks,
Bruce

Yeah put the highest flowed injector on #7, then I guess spread them around to balance each bank!?

So we think #7 will likely be the leanest cyl?

Joe,
Yeah thanks, I saw that, which makes me lean toward #7 but that is really more a progressive maintence issue.
I was wondering if there are any inherent intake manifold (LS6) or other design issues that that typically lean out one cyl or another?
