Flashscan freeze during scanning

Went to try to scan my 18 Ram and when I go to scan to a data log the unit just freezes stays at starting scanner and then you can't cancel can't do anything with it . That truck tuned and fine when I program the ECM.

Do you still have it connected via a SGM bypass cable? I don't know how much CAN traffic that thing blocks but maybe it is blocking the scantool data too (I assume you are logging EDA?).

Yes bypass module still installed flash the truck several times not even a hiccup. Yes EDA csp4 file.

Not near my computer so I can't really go double-check my settings. maybe I didn't program EDA settings in right. Thought I did.. Just wondering if anyone has had luck Data logging on 18 or or something within EFI. Thanks

No problem, because I have a feeling the mode we use for scanning is blocked by the SGM, it only allows very basic SAE diagnostic messages through. :yucky:

Yeah I'm hoping that's not the case. I dig a little deeper into it when I get off the road.

Just a Update my bad for got to copy and drag EDA from right plane to lower left when setting up scan options. Data logger working fine.
