LWN script exited with code $0540: Incompatible operating system

Hey all,
I'm currently running EFI Live Scan and Tune V8 and am trying to flash my 2017 E98 ECM. I have some .bin files and I'm trying to do a full flash. However, when I click check license, I'm given the code $0540 which refers to an incompatible operating system. However, why should it matter what OS is installed on my ECM if I'm going to be installing a new one anyway? Just looking for a bit more info for this issue!

Because there is areas of the ECM that change between models years you can't put say a 2016 OS in to a 2018 ECM. Whatever your bin files are must not be a match to what your ECM will accept without risk of corruption.
