I have a 2010 camaro ss E38 ecm.
Whats your take on disabling the compressor at higher engine RPM's?
Does the tables in Systems/AC params G0103/G0104 work?
If so, which pin on J1/J2 would connect to the compressor thru a relay?

I am using a VA a/c system with a trinary switch to control the fans and would add another to control the compressor rpm on/off?
If that works!

Thanks, Chuck

E38 will not be able to control AC compressor by itself, it needs can data message to activate it, you need BCM and AC controls, there is a company that sells a module to produce this signal.
If you wire the AC pressure sensor, it may activate FANS when needed.
why not use ECM to control Fans?

Yes I am using the ecm for fans. I miss-spoke. I meant using to trinary to control compressor.
It appears the settings in the ecm for ac rpm is non-functional.
I guess I'll have to remember to turn off the ac if I do burnouts.
It may not be critical to be concerned about compressor rpm since my Sanden SD7B10 is 6500 constant and 9300 downshift.
I guess GM quit using that control like the LS1 when they started using control modules to consolidate wiring.
Thanks for helping out.
