Hi all! Its been a while. I was chasing electrical buggaboes for years only to find my computer was bad. I was running an old holden tune and purchased a newer E38 and T42. The old tune was "segment swapped" and changed to work for the new computer.

Unfortunately, he did not also update the T42. So I have a T42 with a stock tune that shifts very poorly. I would like to take the old TCM tune and put it into the new TCM. Obviously the operating systems prevent a comparison and update.

The first tune is the old one I wish to use.

The second tune is the new operating system with the tune I wish to over write (Tranny tune from fort Myers).

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. The changes may be very simple but I cannot see what is different by comparison.

You will have to open 2 instance of the V7 tunetool side-by-side and visually compare the tunes.

Is there any way to do this that is simpler? I got it to compare the changes one time but now I cannot repeat it. What I need is a list of tune modifications. Or to simply install the old TCM computer with the old operating system for the tranny back in? Will the updated OS PCM talk to the old TCM? Can they operate independent of each other?

Thanks in advnance. PS, more changes than I thought. Lol.

If the OS's are different you have to compare the hard way.
