Hi All

seem to be getting some issues with the ignition and throttle position going all mad when data logging giving the car a surging type feeling when running at a set speed say 30mph with constant throttle. It is a e40 ecu being used to run an LSA engine with a converter for the 24 to 58 tooth configuration. Any suggestions on what could be causing this would be much appreciated have a data log if anyone would like to look at it.

Thanks Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Please post log and tune files.

If you're running the LPE 58x->24x converter, make sure it is mounted in a location that does not get hot.

From looking at your log, the problem appears to be due to spark timing.

Indeed its what is causing it that is the issue could a bad MAP sensor placement cause that sort of issue?

How is your MAP sensor placed and wiring routed...?
You log shows your MAP signal to be a little noisy.

BTW:
You are logging too many pids.
Remove these: WO2Sxx, ACTLAMBxSx, KNK_E40_DMA.
