adding 2nd V2 to my account

Hello,

Long story, due to non repairable, non USB communication of my original (unlimited LS1B Stream) V2, i bought a used one. Can that one be added to my account?

EFILive offers a service to transfer all your licenses and streams to a replacement unit in the event of a hardware failure.

However that isn't something that can be done if you've replaced your broken unit with a used one.

Is that what you meant by adding it to your account?

I have looked into that but i got this one for less than half price of a new one, My old one has unlimited LS1B on it and i can still use it by transfering tunes via SD card. But for any new vehicle i can't buy a license. So i can just buy licenses for the one i just bought? since my old serial number is on file with efilive.

If the unit you purchased has license slots available you can purchase licenses. The serial and license will be different so you’d need to manage security permissions by having the correct unit connected.
