Need a new cable OBD to RJ and also a quesiton about DSP5

1. Need a new OBD2 - > RJ cable for my Flashscan. Recommended source?

2. If I remove the wiring from the DSP5 cable on a LBZ diesel, will the truck run ok? If so, which tune does it revert to?
