Hi guys,
I'm new to gasser tuning and would like some advice. I'm currently working with a 2000 6.0 vortec. I've tuned the trans some but when it comes to the engine I don't have the experience. I'd like to turn up the wick just a little without hurting economy much. Would it work to enrichen table B3605 for open loop and then enable PE mode sooner in table B3616 and enrichen the PE tables B3618, B3617 for more fuel during closed loop?
Thanks - Greg

50+ views and no one has a clue? Or did I hit it on the nose and no one wants to give secrets away?

Wideband, perform Calc.VET to get MAF and VE correct. Set PE AFR to your preference between 12.3-12.7.

Calc.VET is on the forum here and spells it out step-by-step what needs to be done. And yes, you MUST have a wideband to actually do anything with the fueling side. I'm a fan of AEM's X-Series OBDII/CAN, but it won't work on your car as 2000 doesnt have CAN. Their analog WB is great too, that'd be my suggestion for you.

PE AFR? could you elaborate on this a bit, I'm not understanding which perameter you are referencing.

Power Enrichment=PE. There will be a few tables to specify when the PCM/ECM goes into PE mode and then what the target AFR should be.

You will see PE (table B3618) mentioned in the Calc.VET thread.
