Is it possible to open a raw binary with V7.5 for the CM849?
I have 4 blocks that I concatenated together.
I tried and it complains saying "File block size does not match controller block size".
Do I need to insert some padding?

It is possible yes, if you want to send your bin over to support@efilive.com I'll align everything to how EFILive will load as a bin so you can see how it is done.
If you are doing a direct conversion from an .xcal / .hex file to bin it won't work.

Email sent.

This is not an .xcal/hex/ascii file it is a raw binary.

We got the files ok but it's obvious to see this is not a stock tune.
Our policy has always been not to assist people with file conversions when the tune is non standard, it doesn't matter if it was from a competitors product or not, we won't do it, sorry.
I know because of the contents this isn't dumped via the CPU debug port so I assume it has come from another tuner.

Ah ok didn't know that but it makes sense.

It was purely for my own curiosity, I don't tune anything but my own stuff.

Thanks tho.

Hello everyone was wondering on cummins Ecm like c2100 or above Ecu how to read of bin files ? I meant internal flash . Internal EPROMs / data flash ,Program flash. Or in which format does it need it to be read in order to have full control of operation system and parameters. Some people say something about Cax files not sure if that write.
