Flash Scan Firmware Programmer Issue

Ive had my V2 since 2008, last time i used it, it updated firmare no problem, today when i plugged it into the PC > Firmware Programmer it did not automatically display the details as I remeber it di on previous occasions i thought, any way it asked me to press contol on the V2 on power up to go into dead poll mode, i did this, the two orange lights are flashing but Firmware Programmer doesnt recognise the V2 is in dead poll mode, any idea whats wrong?

2.0 ROM Fail at adress 0X400000 eRR:00C6 (to be fair its givING this result for past couple of years and still been working OK)

If it is ROM failed, can it be repaired, or any other options for repalcement without license and transfer my existing licence?

Actually black box logging and program and config is still functional, mines an old E40PCM, if Im stuck without updates that wont apply to me then no problem i guess

Seems its been a while since I used my V2, some confusion on my part between the V2 programmer and the control panel for updating the firmware which I just did successfully to 2.07.140
