Hi,
I've been out of the tuning game for a while, after picking up a new '17 Fifty I didn't want to mess with it for the first three years of warranty coverage ... anyway, this time is coming to an end next year, so I was looking into what improvements could be made by fine-tuning the setup ... I had my 2000 Firebird tuned both before motor mods and after with EFILive, and it worked great ... cut almost half a second on the quarter mile on the stock setup just by tuning with a wideband O2 ...
So where to start with the '17? And, most of all, are the problems that (as I understood it) originally prevented tuning with EFIlive solved? I had read that while the '16 was tunable initially, countermeasures by GM prevented the ECU changes on the 17 and later ...
Thanks!
