Hello,
I am working with a 2008 GMC Yukon XL Denali, 6.2L.

The GM service manual says that a scanner can be used to activate the vehicle's fuel pump. I was hoping to be able to do this with my EFI Live FlashScan v2. Looking in the EFILive V75 Scan manual, it would appear that bidirectional controls are only available on LS1 and LS6 engines. Is this true? How risky would it be to attempt activating the fuel pump even though this isn't an LS1 or LS6?

Thank you for any help.

Connect to the ECM and open up the DVT tab to see if it's an option. That doc is super outdated.

+1 user manual is outdated.

When you connect to vehicle, on DVT tab you will see a drop down menu titled "Target Controller", select E38

then on the Output tab you will see Fuel Pump Duty Cycle.
