Hello,
I recently worked on one of these crate engines.

Here is the stock file for reference which I believe is GM's latest rev.

I changed all of the usual desired idle stuff including the min mass air stuff, etc etc. Even though the desired idle showed what I commanded, the idle would never get below ~900rpm. I briefly checked for vacuum leaks and a few other things since it is a crate engine, found one small leak. Has anyone else seen this? The only thing that stood out was the TPS % never dropped below stock as if it had a commanded minimum. I don't have all of the information in front of me and was just playing with it for a really good customer with multiple projects. I was mainly there to help that day with fuel system issues so I figured I would look deeper at a later time.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
-Carl

That's the stock GM file that came with the controller for the 525hp crate engine...?

They take knock seriously...!!

They run PE overly rich, could probably make an extra 10-15 hp by making PE not quite so rich (assuming the IFR and MAF/VE are correct).

Look at GM.ETCTP instead of GM.TP.
