View Full Version : C0558 hard code after reflashing for a gear change

So I went and changed the gears in my 2005 Yukon yesterday from 3.73 to 4.56 gears and after making the initial calibration change for the gear ratio, I got a hard C0558 code which is "calibration Data Not Programmed/Learned". I have tried to put the original cal back in to see if that would revert it back but no go. Any ideas of what happened when I flashed the ECU? I have not had this code at all before flashing it yesterday.

Do you have separate engine and transmission tunes, and if so did you make the change in both of them? Can you post your tune files?

It's a LS1b ecu so both the engine and trans cals are within the same ECU and are not separate.

C code is from either body/chassis controller or ABS controller...

I saw the code description when I pulled the code. I was just trying to figure out how the ABS module lost it's cal info after I changed the gear ratio in the ECU.

It didn't it must know there is now a mismatch between the ECM and ABS.

I tried to put back the original call and the code is always there though. With that, I have to guess that the ABSinfo got erased with the reflash.
