v2 not working

I have an older v2 and bought a new vehicle to tune. I went to purchase a license and it said I had to use the new version of efi live. I downloaded it, but kept getting an error code of $0024 EFILive_Hapi is not running. The file existed so I figured it was that the boot block needed to be updated so I plugged in the v2 and went through the v2 to upgrade. It went through a whole process, then went to updating. It sat updated for like 8 hours and then I figured something was wrong so I unplugged it. Now I plug it in and just get 2 amber lights blinking, nothing else. What do I do?

If it's the second and forth amber lights rotating, then the device is in dead-poll awaiting firmware programming.
Open V8 Scan and Tune software
Open EFILive Explorer
Navigate to the [F12: Firmware] tab
Select the latest firmware and program the device.
