08 cab and chassis stock file

Anyone have a stock file for a 08 cab and chassis? Got a customer with a bricked ECM, but was too cheap to buy a new one. So they bought one from the wreaking yard. Of course it's not a cab and chassis file in it, and since it doesn't have the right part number in the ECM my Witech only wants to flash a 2500 file in it.

You need to get the P/N's off the old ECM. There will be printed on the sticker an 'E/C' code, that is what people will need to get the correct match tune.

Search the Fed World document and you can get the calibration that will work for your application.

From experience, you can use a CC file from 07, 08 and 09 in all of the model years without issue.

Also, if the ECM is indeed bricked, it can be recovered. I wouldn't trash it.

I tried to bench it can't communicate with it. how do we go about recovering it?

also I did get a file and got the truck back on the road
