A question about the position relationship of the crank reluctor wheel to the crank position sensor.
When the top dead centre falling edge on the reluctor wheel passes the crank position sensor at what position on the face of the sensor generates the top dead centre signal.
In the face of the crank angle position sensor there appears to be two embedded sensor bars at right angle to the reluctor wheel approximately 4mm apart when setting up TDC for installation on a non LS1 engine does anyone know what part of the sensor is the correct position location for setting up TDC.

Thanks.

Hmmm...

I'm adding this in case it helps to figure it out:

23245

joecar...Thanks for the response, I am familiar with the PicoScope trace and the position of TDC on the reluctor wheel. I took a guess and set up the reluctor wheel TDC position in the middle of the sensor it now appears that this is a few degrees out and I will now have to reposition the reluctor wheel accordingly.
Again thanks for your response.
