E38 Additional Options

This is aimed at the Efilive team.

So i wrote a cax file to change the transmission selection, but it looks like because the main calibration page reads the transmission type it wont let me also read/change this calibration data through a cax file.

So can you please add in a similar selections for all the E38 calibrations?

It'll be far easier for us to look at why the .cax isn't allowed to alter it rather than allowing the editing of that in V7 (which I'm pretty doesn't magically fix everything needed when changing trans type).
Also, I assume you have the option in V7 to allow .cax overrides ticked?

yeah, that works for me too.

yeah the overrides ticked is on, but it does say user cax overrides only.

the main reason is to try a 6l80e to that OS, VZ 6lt that came with the T42.

If you get that error means that efilive already has a table linking to that specific flash address and thus do not need the cax file for that parameter. Use EFILive's own instead. That being said. There are some parameters that are used for reference in the calibration window and efilive doesn't allow you to change them. Those parameters are only for calibration reference and are not used by anything in the code in most instances.
