LB7 only. I have successfully unlocked 3 LB7 ecms using the script. What appears to happen is that the serial number is erased, becomes all zero's, rendering the ECM "not secured". Is this a common thing, or am I just doing something wrong. I assume there is no recourse for these "lost" ecm's. I suspect they can be used with the security light on.

What are your steps Michael? What is happening shouldn't be happening.

Thank you. I was not paying close attention to everything but I will next time. Just using the cal flash unlock utility. Unlock the ecm after a few days, and full flash with another file in my collection.
These are all controllers that are sent in to be unlocked. But I am not discounting the possibility of some kind of coincidental fatal problem with them. I do know they have SN's with all zeros now.
