I am new to EFILive and tuning. I am muddling my way thru the parameters.
I cannot get the 2010 Camaro 6.2 6spd manual E38 standalone harness to run. I have 2 DTC's, P0107 and P0621.
MAP sensor has 5v and don't think the P0621 gen light would keep it from running. I had someone build the harness and disable VATS.
I have been searching the EFILive site for hours for vats settings and have found nothing that helps explain G1208 and G1211.
The B9903 disable vats patch has not been applied. I don't know if this OS 12633056 needs it.
Everything seems in order, all voltages are good, all grounds are are good (body to frame, engine to frame, engine to body).
I don't even know what question to ask. I would like to get this engine running.
I need all vats parameters and explain G1208,1211 and any ides as to where/what else to do.
I added my tune file in case,Thanks

ALL E38 OS's need the VATS patch applied.
If you can see the option in your tune then carefully follow the instructions in there.

Apply software update to disable the Vehicle Anti-Theft System.
After applying this patch you must perform a 'Full Flash' of the ECM.

Also, parameter G1220, set this to 'Not Used' if the ECM is not controlling the stater relay (which it usually doesn't with conversions).

But you need to ask whoever supplied your tune what software they used to Disable the VATS (you said "I had someone build the harness and disable VATS").
If software other than EFILive was used to disable the VATS then our patch might not work, it was designed to be used on stock factory files.

The place is not in business any longer so not sure about how the vats was removed.
I'll look for info about the patch but I'll look again.
Thanks

I just got to the shop and checked the VATS but do not see any "instructions".
Could you give me some direction as to where in Tune v7.5 I would find the instructions?
Thanks

Select the VATS parameter, aka B9903, and it will tell you in the right corner what changes need to be made.

Make sure to check G1220 as well. Make the changes, then full flash the updated tune.

I have to have the V2 connected to my laptop to get B9903?

No matter what I do The v7.5 tune software tells me B9903 is not found. Of course, I have no idea what to look for.
The V2 is connected but still can't find B9903. I'm a newby and lost.
I just read "See Also: {B9903} "(not available in this operating system)"

Found post by GMPX saying to load software after connection thru V2.
Did that and got the parameter B9903 but it says "Apply software update to disable the Vehicle Anti-Theft System"
There is nothing intuitive about this process!
does changing "not applied" to "applied" automatically do the update? I'm really confused.

Just forgot to update...I found 2 wires broken at the cam sensor connector and this dummy had push the map connector in upside down...duh!

Did you fix the problem...?

I don't follow how the MAP connect was u-s-d, I thought it was keyed...?

I don't either, but that's what my tuner friend told me. I had left the car with him to figure out why it would not start and he did get it to run.
