ATTENTION - Release Candidate Software

This software contains a new CSP switchable tune operating system for CMF controllers. It is an "early access" feature that is not intended for production use just yet. EFILive is looking for feedback on the performance of the CMF CSP OS. Please do not install the CMF CSP OS on remote vehicles. Only install it on vehicles in your workshop that you can recover easily if the CSP5 OS causes problems.

For users dealing with the V3 AutoCal products you must use this release and ensure that all devices have the firmware updated to the version in this release prior to being used on vehicles.

The current public release is available here (https://www.efilive.com/download-efilive).

Generating script files and/or running script files that attempt to modify DTCs using the V8 editor produces incorrect results for some controllers (i.e. Bosch controllers).

Hey Paul,

Looking at this post it appears that 7.5 has not changed since RC1. While it does not happen often, I find myself needing the

DVT controls to do a T43 Adaptive reset and re-learn for a C6 with a V3 autocal.

When trying to connect to either E38 or T43 with 7.5 scan, I get the message ERR_NOCABLE/31 and both 7.5 tune and scan won't connect.

Am I doing something wrong or does 7.5 have no support for ACV3?

I'm kinda stuck without full scantool DVT support with a bunch of my customers.

Thanks
Chuck CoW

Hi Chuck,
Sorry, V7 does not support V3 hardware.
We are working to get the DVT controls into V8 so it can be used with V3 hardware.

Paul

Ok, So... only a few hours in the toilet.... :( Thinking I was crazy....

I'll send the guy an old AutoCal to handle the DVT stuff.

I'm not sure why the T43 Full flash didn't work the first time using the target OS mod....

But thankfully it worked tonight so we're a step closer.

Is the BBX Logging error with the external pids something that you think might be fixed soon?

I've been distributing the same BBX configs for some time now and while I have not see the problem before

I imagine I'm due for a few customer service calls this week on that one.

Thank you!
Chuck CoW

It is fixed in this RC3 release, it was discovered in RC2, here: https://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?29750-October-2020-Release-Candidate-2
You need to look at the "Known Issues" section more closely :)
